Leigh Allen (CEO)

I began my entrepreneurial journey in college while attending West Virginia University pursuing a degree in Design Studies where not only did I learn a lot about the design industry but business as a whole. While in college I served in the United States Army National Guard where I developed a strong sense of leadership and managing people.

I continue these lessons my past experiences have taught me by inspiring more people everyday. I seek to inspire and teach the youth so they themselves can get the same opportunities that were bestowed upon me. I created Takeoff Initiative because the name itself explains that we have the ability to Takeoff but we have to create the initiative to do so.

Maya Mclin

I’m an account manager here at Takeoff Initiative ! My favorite thing about the job is it gives me a product outlet for my energy and hard work to go into, allowing me the opportunity to never work again! I play the guitar and am bilingual. I’ve spent a little time in almost every career field and by far this is the most engaging and worthwhile that l’ve seen thus far! Hopefully if you’re afforded the opportunity to work here you can get a chance to see what the hype is about !

Tevin Golden

I was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. Married with my wife Alexandria and my two kids Logan and Lyirc. I enlisted into the Army 2014 after college and recently just ETS after 10 years of service. I attend school at Maryland global campus where I will graduate in a year and A half with my bachelors in Cybersecurity. My hobbies include weight lifting and basketball. Two things that made me take this opportunity is the ability for financial freedom and professional growth. I’ve never been apart of sales or any job for that matter outside of the Army except 1 in IT, so taking this opportunity was totally out of my realm and showed me how to adapt to a totally different field.

Jethro Torczon

After earning a Quantitative Economics degree at the University of Alabama on a National Merit Finalist scholarship, Jethro began his career in Data Analytics before discovering that he enjoys working with people even more than spreadsheets and code. Jethro is passionate about music, soccer, El Salvador, investing, and entrepreneurship.

Waymon Darkins

I’m one of the account managers here at TAKEOFF Initiative. I am a rather laid back guy and extremely family oriented. This job is built upon community and growth as a whole. It gives me the opportunity to be free with my creativity, and how I utilize my time. Community is most important to me, because without community there is no evolution. Quality time is what we value, whether it is playing video games with friends, heading to the basketball court, or a nice dinner. As long as we’re together, we prosper.
